Nelson J. Denny, 65, of Lyme, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2012. He was born in Derby, CT, son of the late Nelson and Ruth (Pardee) Denny. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Colby College and after attending Yale School of Architecture, he became an architect, designing and building many homes in the Stony Creek section of Branford and other places on the Connecticut shoreline. He is survived by his sister Joyce Hausmann of Tolland and was a wonderful uncle to Kevin, Keith, Jonah, and Asa Hausmann. Nelson, who was known as John by his many cousins, is recently called “G.U.” (Great Uncle) by his close family, will be tremendously missed by all.
