Condolence: We are sorry to learn of Nelson's passing. He was a talented professional and fun to be around. Future projects without him will lack Nelson's keen sense of humor, twinkle in his eyes, and his knowledgeable input.

Condolence: Friend , architect, and fellow Colby alumnus, seven years prior. Nelson said I was the only other alumnus he ever met. We had many good projects together and many fun times as well in Connecticut and up at my cabin on Moosehead Lake in Maine with my kids and Thumper. We'll all miss him.

Condolence: Nelson designed us a beautiful home in Guilford !! We worked very closely with him for over 3 years. We got to know each other very well over numerous late nite dinners. Althought eccentric, his sense of humor kept us going. When the project was completed, it was very difficult to end the working part of our relationship. We still think about him to this day. Nelson, your missed already... Please let us know when the memorial service will be. We would like to attend. We are so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Nelson was a friend as well as the architect of our house in Stony Creek. We purchased our house from Nelson in 1982 and contacted him in 1997 to help us with an addition and renovation. As usual his plans were both practical and elegant and we felt lucky to be working with him. We just met with Nelson ad Mike Houde (our contracor) last fall to discuss another renovation project for our home and we had a wonderful afternoon reminiscing about the joys and tr1als of buildiong our house. He was a gifted architect and a good friend with a wonderful dry sense of humor. We will miss him. Jane & Jerry Shaw

Condolence: Nelson is missed... He was a fine companion on many adverntures, and an inspiration as a builder. His work graces the village of stony creek and other locations, with a tasteful eve... or lofty deck, peeking out from trees or over shoreline he loved. Many people here have stories of time afloat on the White Swan, and various antics. Nelson's hearty laugh, and big smile will remain with us all. See ya buddy... Tim
