Evan Thomas Baker,19, beloved son of Rebecca M. (Stewart) and Christopher T. Baker passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 17, 2012. He was born February 7, 1993 in Hartford, CT. Evan enjoyed snow boarding, skate boarding, campfires, and playing xbox with his brothers. He shared many wonderful vacations with his family. He loved being outdoors and fishing with his dad. He was especially fond of animals and had dreams of getting involved in the veterinarian field. He had an amazingly, awesome smile and loved to make people laugh. Evan was a loyal friend known for being a good listener and an awesome hugger. Evan will greatly be missed. He is survived by his mother Rebecca M. (Stewart) Baker of Manchester, his father Christopher T. Baker of Vernon; his brothers, Nathaniel Christopher and Matthew John Baker of Tolland; maternal grandparents Thomas and Susan (Starinovich) Stewart of Tolland; paternal grandparents George Baker, Lorraine and Alexander Ewing and Gary Pozzato all of Vernon; his maternal great-grandmother Rena Starinovich of Windsor Locks, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Evan was predeceased by his grandmother Beatrice Baker and his great-grandfather John Starinovich. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd (Rt 195), Tolland, CT 06084 on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 5-8pm and to the funeral home service on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10am. Burial will follow at South Cemetery on Cider Mill Road immediately after the service.
