Dorothy ( Cyrkiewicz) Yuszchak, 82, of Ellington wife of the late Walter Yuszchak, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 15, 2012. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Rockville for many years. She worked for the Rockville Housing Authority; she was the church secretary for St. Joseph's Church in Rockville, as well as the secretary of St. John's Church in Old Saybrook, CT. She was also a member of the St. Helen's society and The Rosary society, Friends of the Library, and A member of the Rockville Hospital Ladies Guild. She is survived by her children and their spouses; her daughter Kathy and Scott Giard of Ellington,CT , and her son John and Laurie Yuszchak of Ft. Wayne, IN; her grandchildren Nicole and Steve Kulpa of South Windsor,CT, Amanda Yuszchak of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Michael Giard of Ellington, CT, she also survived by her sister Alice Heer-Melvin of Florida, as well as her nieces Pam and Jim Langell of New Jersey and Gail and Jim Greermun of Florida. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family at Small and Pietras Funeral Home 65 Elm Street Rockville CT 06066 from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday December 18, 2012 and a Mass of Christian burial at 10am on Wednesday December 19, 20012 at St. Joseph Church Rockville CT (please meet at church) with burial to follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery Rockville.
