Obituary for Christine K. Newman

Christine V. (Kane) Newman, 99, of Tolland, beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Dr. Robert G. Newman passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015. She was born December 26, 2015 in New Haven, the daughter of the late John P. Kane and Mary (Hanrahan) Kane. She was a teacher in Norwalk, CT School System for over 40 years. She is survived by her sons, Robert G. Newman Jr. and his wife Pamela (Brush) Newman and Michael J. Newman and his wife Diane (Sigsway) Newman; her grandchildren, Stacey (Newman) Carlisle and her husband Jason, Robert G. Newman III and his wife Candice Newman, Krista (Newman) Scott and her husband Terry, and Erika (Newman) Buchholz and her husband Scott; her great grandchildren, Duncan, Patrick, Madelina, Taylor and Aiden. She will be buried in Norwalk with her husband. All services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
