Obituary for Marie V. Stewart (Johnston)

Marie (Johnston) Stewart, 84 of Rockville, Connecticut passed away on April 23,20l6 at Fox Hill Rehab Center. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine on October 24, 1931.She was the daughter of the late Chester and Grace (Buckingham) Johnston. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Victoria Robinson and husband Frank of Rock Hill, SC, Winston Stewart and his wife Micheline of Vernon, Gregory Stewart and his wife Karen of Bolton, Dana Stewart and his wife Esther of Vernon, Randy Stewart and his wife Julie of Stafford Springs, and Chester Stewart of Vernon. She is also survived by a sister, Lela Lavoie of Florida and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Ivan; sons, Kirk (Corky) and Timothy; and four brothers and one sister; and one granddaughter. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Fox Hill Rehab Center for their compassionate care and also the staff of DaVita Dialysis Center of Vernon.
