Maria “Marie” Petrocelli, 91, of Vernon, beloved wife of the late Gerard Petrocelli passed away, Thursday, August 4, 2016. She was born March 26, 1925 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late William and Concetta (Comello) Sarano. She is survived by her son, Gerard R. Petrocelli of Scotland, CT; her daughter, Maureen Conti and her husband Frank of Ellington; her grandson, Paul Conti and his wife Lauryn of Windsor; her great granddaughter Cadence Conti; and many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT 06066. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery (Please meet at the Administration Building at 12:45 PM).
