Obituary for Norman M. Poulin

Norman M. Poulin, 83, of Vernon, beloved husband of the late Beatrice Parent Poulin, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was born October 27, 1933 in Waterville, Maine, son of the late Cyrille and Aglaee Poulin. Norman has been owner and operator of the Manchester Barber Shop since 1960. He was an avid UCONN Women’s Husky fan; loved bowling and golfing. He was a member of the Army Navy Club; a communicant of St. Bernard’s Parish and sang in the choir. He is survived by his children Linda Marchand and her husband Louis of Hollis, ME, Ronald Poulin of Vernon, Donald Poulin and his wife Nancy of Manchester, Norman Poulin, Jr. of Manchester, and Mark Poulin and his wife Connie of Tolland, his daughter-in-law Nola St. Pierre of Frenchville, ME, his grandchildren Tammy, Sandy, Scott, Matthew, Andrew, Gabby, and his step grandsons Paul and John DiPietro. He also leaves his sister Yvette Vigue of Waterville, ME and his brother Richard Poulin of Willington, MA as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Leone Wood, Raymond Poulin, Cyrille Poulin, Jr., his grandson Jason Marchand, his granddaughter Sindy St. Pierre, and his step son Jimmy St. Pierre. Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 4-6 PM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 AM on Monday, March 20, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Church, Rockville. Burial will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Vernon.
