Charles Anderson, 78, of Tolland, CT beloved husband and father passed away peacefully Monday, (April10, 2017) at home. He was born July 19, 1938 in New Haven, the son of the late John and Susan Anderson. Charles had served our country in the United States Air Force. Charles worked as a machinist for many years. He was a devoted husband and father. Charles was happily married to his late wife Pauline for 44 years. Over the past six years, Charles became engaged to a wonderful woman named Susan Rosi. They shared so many fond memories of travel, and the love of NASCAR, PGA Golf, and the Boston Red Sox. He is survived by his children and their spouses: Charles and Shawn Anderson, Christine and David Szabo, Kenneth and Ruth Anderson, Philip and Kathleen Anderson; his sister Marilyn, his brothers John and Carl. Charles is also survived by seven grandchildren: Brandon, Michaela, Madison, Amanda Anne, Lindsay, Samuel, and Brady, as well as many nieces and nephews. One of his fondest memories was working on the Anderson Family Tree and taking a trip to Sweden.
