Donald Cunningham, 68, of Madison, passed away on April 23, 2017 peacefully with family by his side. He was born December 6, 1948 in White-Field, NH, son of Darwin and Arlene (Rexford) Cunningham. Don was an extremely kind man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The most amazing thing about Don; he was a wonderful father & grandfather. Spending time with his grandkids was what truly made him happy. He was a Vietnam veteran and loved to tell his war stories to anyone who would listen. He loved to tell jokes & play jokes on people. He really enjoyed embarrassing his daughter in public & pointing out how embarrassed she was, that always gave him a good laugh. His favorite pass time was going for walks in the woods, enjoying nature & all natures creatures. Don is survived by his daughter Darlene Cunningham who he lived with for many years whom was his caretaker & advocate. His son Kevin Cunningham and daughter in law Faith Cunningham. He has 5 grandchildren, two grandsons Kyle & Jacob, & 3 granddaughters Brooke, Ashley,& Leah. He recently became a great grandfather to Ashley's twin daughters Illianna & Josselyn. He is also survived by his sister Diane and brother Kenny. He will be truly missed by many but left us with wonderful memories and many laughs.
