Sara Ann Myska, 40, of Vernon, CT passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. She was born on July 13, 1976 in Roanoke Rapids, NC to Beverly Katie (Judge) States and the late Douglas Robert States. She enjoyed baking, crafts, puzzles and loved spending time with her dogs Buddy, Jess and Aliera. Besides her mother Beverly Katie, she is survived by her husband, Steven; her son Kevin Cristopher Jones; daughter, Jennifer Ann Jones; brother, Jeffrey States; aunts, Nancy North and uncle Dennis North, Diana Haines, Jan Peddicord, Atsuko Yamaguchi, Dee Whidby, Sally Bahnsen, Leone Yager; and cousins Linda Gerhardt and Wilma Meritt. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, May 26, 2017 between 4pm-6pm at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect Street, Rockville, CT. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 11am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 523 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon. Burial will follow in the Memorial Garden located at the Church.
