Condolences

Condolence From: Sue Way
Condolence: His obituary said it all very well. He will be missed although I did not know him well. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

Condolence From: Martin (Marty) Hainsey
Condolence: I've known the Giglio family for 49 years. Rob (Al's Son) and I became friends the first day we met.
From the day I first met his Mother and Father I was treated like I was part of the family. As a young teenager working on the farm included lunch every day at their kitchen table and as Rob's friend many dinners as well. It was during this time that I gained tremendous respect and admiration for both Al and Evelyn. I'm not really sure why maybe it was my work ethic or maybe Al just knew I had great respect for him but every time we would see each other he would smile and we would talk about the "old" days his family, the farm, or things Rob and I were doing at the time.
Through-out my life I really enjoyed visiting Al and our conversations about everything from Politics, family, sports, TV Shows, to what was new in farming.
Al and his family are more than friends, they truly are my second family.
Al is the very definition of a Gentleman who unselfishly and not by choice (his Dad would not sign release required to play pro- baseball) worked extremely hard all his life for the benefit of his family both past and present.
True friends are like having money in the bank. You may not see them every day but you know they are there, and when you do visit them, and spend time with them, you just feel better knowing that you have them as friends.
I'm going to miss Al, his smile, his advice, his outlook on life, his example of what friends should be like, like family.
May he rest in peace knowing he has made a difference in many peoples lives who he had treated just like me.

Martin (Marty) Hainsey
and Family.

Condolence From: Dan Slivinsky
Condolence: As a teenager I worked for "AL" in grammar & high school in the late 50's and early 60's. Have many fond memories of him. Great boyhood experiences, learning to drive a tractor, picking corn and bales of hay in the fields. Also great memories of his brothers Mickey and Gene.

Condolence: Mandy, I will always remember your dad's sweet nature and love of his land. I remember him looking out into the back field behind the barn and saying he will never get tired of of that view. My thoughts are with you.
