Condolence: Dear family of Mary,

I met Mary through Sue and Marc LaRose back in the mid-to-late 1980s when Sue was a before-and-after-school daycare provider for my son Adam. Mary was always sweet and considerate and a pleasure to converse with. If I remember correctly, when I arrived late in the afternoon to retrieve Adam, Mary and Sue would often be immersed in a conversation about interior decorating, and crafts, and great sales at the Christmas Tree Shops--I loved getting in on these little chats at the end of my very long school days.

Fast forward to approximately two years ago when I met Mary again at evening Mass at St. Bridget's in Manchester. She recognized me first and we talked for a few moments before Mass. I remember her always having with her a lovely set of Rosary beads with which she prayed so devoutly. During one of our pre-mass visits, Mary confided in me that she was facing health issues. Soon after that she did not attend the 5:30 at St. Bridget's anymore; I assumed her health issues were the reason. I thought of her frequently and wished her well.

I will remember Mary for her sincere sweetness and interest in others. Even though I did not know her well, I believed her to be selfless, and in my few interactions with her, I knew she was kind and good. For how limited my relationship was with her, nonetheless she made an impact on my life and I thank her for that dear blessing. My condolences to the family and those who were fortunate to call her a friend.

Condolence: I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Zukauskas a few times. She was one of the nicest people one could know. She fought her illness with courage. Knowing her briefly easily explains how she was able to raise a person like Maureen. My prayers are with the entire family. May everyone get the strength to bear this loss.
