Obituary for Elizabeth Betty-Ann Hall (Bolles)

Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Bolles Hall 8-22-29 to 11-1-2017

Elizabeth passed on to her friends and family on November 1, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born the oldest of four children in Hartford, Ct to Edward J. Bolles and Noreen M. Bolles. Her passion was dance and became an accomplished dancer at a very young age. Dancing in recitals and shows in the area.
She continued on to accomplish many things in her long and wonderful life.
She married Gerald A.Berube July 7, 1951 in Old Saybrook, Ct and had a daughter Cheryl (Berube) Moses in 1955. She dedicated her life to her family and made a beautiful home in Mountoursville Pa. She was very active in the community and her church Lady of Loundes, becoming President of the Ladies Guild and organizing many charity and fund raising events for the church.

As her journey continued to Houston Texas she meet and married John R Hocking. Attaining her real estate license, and working as project coordinator for the C.E.R. Program which placed youths in careers and job training.

She then opened her own commercial construction company, Evergreen Construction with her then husband Robert Downs. One of the few female run construction companies in the city where they built several commercial buildings.

Her hobby of ceramics became her passion and opened her own studio “Ye old Ceramics” in Galveston Texas where she taught the art of ceramics to many people and studied with some of the best in the field.

As her journey continued back to Florida and married her fourth and final husband Robert Hall. When most of her friends retired she continued to work as asst manager for Circle K for another 10 years. She then moved close to her daughter and family to Big Pine Key, FL where she then could enjoy her retirement for several years in the sunny Florida Keys. She was friend to all she met and everyone loved her so.


She leaves behind her daughter Cheryl Moses , Brother Chet (Ronnie) Bolles, sister in law Loretta Bolles, Joy Bigos, nieces and nephews Brian Bolles, Doreen Bolles Midford ,Darlene Bolles Russell, Thomas Bolles, Michael Bolles,Michelle Vitale, Lilly Bolles,Hadley Peta,Mark Hervieux,Susan Hervieus, Rebecca Hervieux, Kathleen Bolles Woodruff.Daniel Berube Denise Berube
and their families.

She is preceeded in death by her two brothers and sister in law, Gene F. Bolles, Edward Bolles, Carmela Bolles and son in law Jeffrey Moses.

Memorial service is scheduled Saturday December 16th 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. Lukes Church, 141 Maples Street, Ellington CT.
