Obituary for Francis A. "Frank" Perrotti Sr.

Francis A. "Frank"  Perrotti Sr.
Francis A. Perrotti, Sr. (91), of Storrs, beloved husband of Barbara (Johnson) Perrotti, passed away at Windham Hospital on April 3rd. He was born October 30, 1926 in Waterbury to the late Carmine and Antoinette (Ciampi) Perrotti. Frank served two years in the US Navy. He touched many lives as he spent his whole career in various capacities as a teacher/educator. He was a Vice Principal at JFK Middle School in Enfield, the First Principal of Coventry High School, Principal at Mansfield Middle School and the Superintendent of Mansfield School system. Frank was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas in Storrs. He was very involved in his community in many capacities. He was cemetery sexton at the Storrs Cemetery for 15 years, lifelong member of the Lion’s Club, member of the Eastern Connecticut State University Foundation Board and Alumni Board among many other charities and activities. Francis is survived by his children, Francis A. Perrotti Jr. of Storrs, Margaret Lee and her husband Robert of Elkhorn, WI., Patricia Crispino and her husband Stephen of Manchester, Peter P. Perrotti of West Hartford, his daughter-in-law Nancy Perrotti of Avon, his brother, Robert Perrotti of Waterbury, his sister, Louise Varanelli of Waterbury, and his step-daughter Michele Morytko and her husband Michael of Colchester; his grandchildren, Steven, Nicole, Joseph, Kiernan, Kelsey, Justine, and Madison; his step-grandchildren, Ashley and Daniel. He was predeceased by his wife Mary (Murray) Perrotti in 2000, his stepson Sean Boucher, and his siblings Rosemary Favale, Josephine Laudate, Nicholas Perrotti, Anthony Perrotti, Donald Perrotti, Pasquale Perrotti, and Richard Perrotti. Relatives and friends may join the family on Sunday April 8th from 2-6 pm at Tolland Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Merrow Rd., Tolland. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday April 9th at 10am at St. Thomas Aquinas, 46 N. Eagleville Rd. Storrs. Burial will follow at Storrs Cemetery.
