Clara W. Chamberlin, 92, of Ellington, beloved wife of the late Gordon Chamberlin, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 with her loving daughter, Barbara, at her side. She was born the daughter of Herbert and Grace (Cooley) Wiley. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Wiley of Amherst, MA. She is survived by her children, Daniel Chamberlin and his wife, Cheryl Chamberlin of Ellington; Barbara Giordano and her husband, Ron Giordano of Whitefield, NH; Joani Brown and her husband, Gary Brown of Lemont, PA; and son, David Chamberlin of Nevada City, CA. She leaves behind grandsons Jordan Chamberlin, Timothy Giordano, Michael Giordano, Stephen Giordano, Justin Brown and Clayton Brown along with granddaughters, Katherine Chamberlin, Maria Yarley, Anna Thompson, Janet Brown, Meredith Brown, Emily Chamberlin and Phoebe Chamberlin. She also leaves behind her many great-grandchildren, her beloved sister-in-law, Christine Wiley of Amherst, MA, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Relatives and friends may join the family on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2 PM at the Ellington Baptist Church, 264 Pinney St., Ellington with burial to follow at Ellington Center Cemetery, Ellington.
