The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Scott Roman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Susan A Thibodeau
Condolence: Dear Roman Family: Please accept my deepest sympathy for the family and friends of Scott. We will never get used to losing our loved ones in death because as Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, we were created with everlasting life in view. But may you find comfort in knowing that Almighty God has promised that soon he will swallow up death forever along with the pain that it brings. (Isaiah 25:8) God has also promised that he will return Scott to you as it says at John 5:28,29 and also Psalms 37:29. You can also learn more about what happens when a loved one dies at JW.org.
Sincerely,
Susan

Condolence: Scott: Though you and I never got to hang much, we seemed to always meet and speak of our mutual love for wrestling and music. Of all the people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, I always admired your wit, humor, & extreme sense of being just a great, all-around genuine guy. Telling it like it was, and never feeling the need to pull any punches. You, right now, are no-doubt sitting in the “front row” at the Lord’s best concert, as you always had the envious knack of garnering the choicest seats (and backstage passes). How you did it, the world will never know. Til we meet again; my friend. May God bless you and may your life in Heaven always bring you peace, as the melodies of your favorite songs serenade you.

Condolence: We send our love, sympathy and prayers to Diane and Joe. Scott was such a nice guy, since we met in the early 70's. We may have been 4 homes apart, but we spent a lot of time together having fun. Scott was so sweet to our girls, and was an excellent babysitter! Again we send our love.
Steve, Geri, Geralyn and Kristina.

Condolence: Scott was kind and funny - we were friends in college and while we drifted apart over the years we had recently reconnected over the summer. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to reconnect with him - he will be greatly missed by many.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to Scott’s family and friends. Scott and I met in high school and quickly became friends. He was caring, supportive and always there when you needed him. We used to joke that he was my “concert connection” and always had tickets to whatever show we wanted to see. Thank you for being my friend and for bringing brightness to my life. You will be missed my friend. Rest In Peace.
