Jeanne (Menard) Kosciw, 56, of Vernon passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born April 5, 1962 to the late Paul and Annette (Chartier) Menard. Jeanne was full of life, passionate about fishing, gardening and bird photography -some of her work was featured in Cornell University Ornithology Lab. She worked as a Phlebotomist in Tolland where her patients were very precious to her. She was a former volunteer EMT with the Tolland Emergency Services. She also had an abundance of patience when it came to teaching various skills. She is survived by her sisters; Cecile Fragoso, Michelle Ragle and her husband Rodney, Anita Heady and her husband Bill; her best friend much like a sister, Theresa Feliciano; her nephews, AJ Fragoso, Darrell and Bryan Box and her faithful companions, her dog Hank and her cat Gypsy. The family would like to express deep gratitude to the the caregivers from Companions & Homemakers and hospice staff from ECHN Visiting Nurses and Health Services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lovemark Foundation of Yale New Haven Hospital, which provides financial grants to brain tumor patients.
