Obituary for Brian H. Maynard

Brian H. Maynard, aka “Harley”, was called home to see his Dad, family and friends on July 10th, 2018 at Rockville General Hospital ICU where he was watched over by Angels, Sigga, Eve and Ginny. He came to be on July 29th, 1950. He graduated from Ellington High School in 1969 then joined the USMC where he served his country in Vietnam. His work life consisted of being a jeweler in New York city, a construction worker, a tree man and one of the owners of H & D Welding. He leaves for awhile his mother Edith, brothers and wives, Bruce and Kim, Roger and Bonnie, Dougie and Charlotte and sisters and husbands, Donna and Dick, Debbie, Diane and Dennis, his godson Dustin and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Harold and brother-in-law Norman Dumais. A goodbye will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. If you can’t make it to the service, drink a Bud with three or four ice cubes like Harley would be served by his friend Jimmy Popick. Semper Fi.
