Alice E. Polowitzer, 80, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Henry Polowitzer passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 15, 1938 in Norridgewock, ME, the daughter of the late Stanley Barney and Doris Jewett. She was an avid knitter and loved lighthouses. She was very caring and hardworking. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Judy and Ron Starkweather, Jeffrey and Vicki Deschenes, and Jerry Deschenes and Kim Raffino all of Manchester, her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two brothers and two sisters. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke. (Rte. 44), Coventry, CT 06238.
