Ethelena M. Zeigler, 93, beloved wife of the late William, of Coventry, passed away on Monday (February 1, 2010) with her family by her side. She was born on April 9, 1916 in Princeton, WV, daughter of the late Alfred E. and James Ella (Stultz) Spencer. She was a resident of Coventry for 67 years. Ethelena was an avid fan of the UCONN basketball teams. Before her retirement she worked at Pratt & Whitney. She is survived by her daughter Patricia A. White, of Manchester and her children Lisa A. White of Griswold, David White of Coventry and Kelly N. White of Manchester, her daughter Mary Beagle Brown and her husband David of Coventry and Las Cruces, NM, her son Dr. William Zeigler, Jr. and his wife Anita of Washington, DC and Scottsdale, AZ and their children Christina Zeigler of NYC and Amanda Zeigler of Washington, DC, her son Lawrence Zeigler and his wife Martha of Enfield and Sarasota, FL and their children Troy Zeigler of Los Angeles, CA and Samantha Gnatek and her husband Greg of Enfield and their daughter Amanda. She also leaves her adoring son Kevin Seard of Magnolia, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters Christine Butler of Atlanta, GA, Louisa Ovanessian of Vernon and Rosalia Witcher and husband Prince of Roanoke, VA as well as many nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Arthur, Hubert, Alfred, Rebecca and Lois. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
