Phyllis E. (McGuire) Breton, 68, of Mansfield Center, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 with her family by her side after a long hard fought battle with cancer. She was born November 8, 1947 in Chatham, NY to the late Philip and Shirley McGuire. Phyllis enjoyed reading books and participating in her book club, going to the beach, taking day trips to the casino and wineries with her friends , cooking and most of all spending quality time with her family. She is survived by her sons; Paul Lefemine and his wife Mary Ann of Somers and Matthew Breton of Vernon, CT; her sisters Marcia Nadeau of Myrtle Beach, SC and Laurie Lapenta of Windham ,CT; her grandchildren; Amanda Lefemine, Jessica Reidy and Nick Policastro and many other extended family members. She was predeceased by her daughter Christine Policastro. Relatives and friends may join the family from 4 – 7 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpk (rt.44), Coventry, CT 06238.
